RETURN TO POOH CORNER
- I first heard this song when i was 23,
it was break time and I heard my preschooler,
His name is William.
and he sung it so good and i actually asked him
to sing it again. It was the chorus part.
I just fell in love with the song.
Since then it was one of my ultimate fave.
Thanks William.
It also remind me how simple our life back then
when we were a child,
how simple our dreams...
how simple things made us laugh and felt happy,
made us cry ..
NOW...we all grow, learn and
make choices as a grown-up.
Not always easy.
But we all try to enjoy the jouney.
Like how we used to enjoy the journey and memories of childhood.
There's something about the song that made me feel
that we all can be a child at heart.
It was a pretty amazing feeling.
And of course I want to share to you all my fave quote from Winnie the Pooh.
“If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together.. there is something you must
always remember.
You are braver than you believe,
stronger than you seem,
and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is,
even if we're apart.. I'll always be with you.”
Christopher Robin and I walked along
Under branches lit up by the moon
Posing our questions to Owl and Eeyore
As our days disappeared all too soon
But I've wandered much further today than I should
And I can't seem to find my way back to the Wood
So help me if you can
I've got to get back
To the House at Pooh Corner by one
You'd be surprised
There's so much to be done
Count all the bees in the hive
Chase all the clouds from the sky
Back to the days of Christopher Robin and Pooh
Winnie the Pooh doesn't know what to do
Got a honey jar stuck on his nose
He came to me asking help and advice
From here no one knows where he goes
So I sent him to ask of the Owl if he's there
How to loosen a jar from the nose of a bear
Help me if you can
I've got to get back
To the House at Pooh Corner by one
You'd be surprised
There's so much to be done
Count all the bees in the hive
Chase all the clouds from the sky
Back to the days of Christopher Robin and Pooh
It's hard to explain how a few precious things
Seem to follow throughout all our lives
After all's said and done I was watching my son
Sleeping there with my bear by his side
So I tucked him in, I kissed him and as I was going
I swear that the old bear whispered "Boy welcome home"
Believe me if you can
I've finally come back
To the House at Pooh Corner by one
What do you know
There's so much to be done
Count all the bees in the hive
Chase all the clouds from the sky
Back to the days of Christopher Robin
Back to the ways of Christopher Robin

What is the Value of an Hour?
Posted: 23 Mar 2009 11:03 PM PDT
It was almost midnight on an idle Tuesday and the hospital hallways were unusually calm. I had just finished reading an old issue of Sports Illustrated from cover to cover. “Waiting sucks,” I thought to myself. “Why didn’t I bring a book?”
As I sat quietly with my eyes closed, I could vaguely hear the soft mumbles of a verbal plea going on in the hospital room beside me. “You’ve kept him waiting long enough! My grandson is here! Oh please, let him in.” More mumbling… “Please, please… nurse, bring him to me.”
A moment later the nurse stormed out of the room and looked startled to see me waiting in the hall. “Oh, you’re here!” he yelped. “I’m sorry. I’m a hospice nurse and I’ve only been watching over your grandmother for the last 24 hours. She insisted that you were coming to visit her last night too, so she had me scouring the hospital halls looking for you to no avail. When she told me you were coming again this evening, I assumed her dementia was getting the best of her.”
“Well, I…”
He interrupted me. “But I’m really glad you’re here. I think she’s been holding on just so she could say goodbye to you. It’s actually miraculous that she’s still able to speak, because her body is rapidly shutting down on her. The doctor gave her 24 hours to live about 24 hours ago.”
“Jeez, that’s…”
He interrupted again. “Sir, once more, I’m truly sorry. I had no idea you were out here waiting. Please follow me.”
I stood up and the nurse guided me into the room. “You’re grandson is here,” he announced from the doorway. The old woman’s eye’s lit up. “Oh grace… Oh joy!” She looked right at me and smiled with all the might she had left in her weak body. “I knew you’d come.”
I sat down at her bedside and placed my hand over hers, interlocking our fingers and squeezing ever so slightly in an attempt to show affection. She squeezed back and tried to speak again, but she was too exhausted. Instead, she stared directly into my eyes and held her smile for several minutes as we continued to hold hands. Finally, she closed her eyes and rested.
For nearly an hour I didn’t move. I sat there in silence as she maintained a soft grip on my hand. Then slowly, her grip loosened and her breathing slowed. For a moment I thought she was falling into a deeper sleep, but then her breathing stopped altogether.
I let go of her lifeless hand and used the emergency call button to summon the nurse. The nurse hustled in, covered the body with a white sheet, recorded a few notes on his clipboard, and then began to offer his condolences…
“I’m really sorry for your loss,” he said. “Have you made any funeral arrangements?”
“I don’t even know her name,” I replied.
“What do you mean?” he asked. “She’s your grandmother.”
“No, she’s not,” I assured him. “Prior to stepping foot in this room, I had never met her before in my life. I’m here at the hospital waiting for my roommate who needs a few stitches on his chin.”
He looked confused. “I don’t understand. If you don’t know her, then why didn’t you say so? And why did you sit beside her for the last hour?”
I smiled. “Well, I knew immediately that she wasn’t my grandmother. But when you informed me of her life expectancy, I also knew that her real grandson wasn’t going to make it in time. So curiosity got the best of me and I followed you into the room. Then when she saw me and smiled, I realized her vision was so bad that she actually thought I was her grandson. And knowing how desperate she was to see him, I decided to play the part and spend the hour with her.”
We Determine the Value of Every Hour
Our lives are measured by the value we provide to others. This value arises from the things we spend our time doing. And since time is quantified in hours, the value of our lives is equivalent to the sum of every hour we spend.
Opportunities to provide value are everywhere. Some of them are anticipated, while others blindside us at midnight on an idle Tuesday. Whether or not we choose acknowledge these opportunities is up to us.
How have you spent the last hour of your life?

MY NEW FAVE SONG :)
Special thank you to acciobrain101 of youtube :)
~Kelly Clarkson performs My Life Would Suck Without You on American Idol. 3/11/09.
-i was singing this song for hours and hours in the kitchen (super super loud!)
while cooking, cleaning the fridge, and yes, baking too :)
and my son looks at me like 'what the heck is wrong with u mommy?' heheh.
and kelly was in Oprah this morning and she's just the coolest artist ever :)
i so love love her :)
My Life Would Suck Without You (lyrics)
Guess this means you're sorry
You're standing at my door
Guess this means you take back
All you said before
Like how much you wanted
Anyone but me
Said you'd never come back
But here you are again
(Chorus)
Cuz we belong together now, yea
Forever united here somehow, yea
You got a piece of me
And honestly
My life (my life) would suck (would suck) without you
Maybe I was stupid
For telling you goodbye
Maybe I was wrong
For tryin' to pick a fight
I know that I've got issues
But you're pretty messed up too
Either way I found out I'm nothing without you
(Chorus)
Being with you is so dysfunctional
I really shouldn't miss you,
But I can't let you go,
Oh yeah
{ music break}
Cuz we belong together now, yea yea
Forever united here somehow, yea
You got a piece of me
And honestly
My life (my life) would suck (would suck) without you
Cuz we belong (yeah) together now (together now), (yeah)
Forever united here somehow, yea
You got a piece of Me And honestly
My life (my life) would suck (would suck) without you

Guess this means you're sorry
You're standing at my door
Guess this means you take back
All you said before
Like how much you wanted
Anyone but me
Said you'd never come back
But here you are again
(Chorus)
Cuz we belong together now, yea
Forever united here somehow, yea
You got a piece of me
And honestly
My life (my life) would suck (would suck) without you
Maybe I was stupid
For telling you goodbye
Maybe I was wrong
For tryin' to pick a fight
I know that I've got issues
But you're pretty messed up too
Either way I found out I'm nothing without you
(Chorus)
Being with you is so dysfunctional
I really shouldn't miss you,
But I can't let you go,
Oh yeah
{ music break}
Cuz we belong together now, yea yea
Forever united here somehow, yea
You got a piece of me
And honestly
My life (my life) would suck (would suck) without you
Cuz we belong (yeah) together now (together now), (yeah)
Forever united here somehow, yea
You got a piece of Me And honestly
My life (my life) would suck (would suck) without you

On eBay:
I am a buyer and seller, but most of the time buyer.
I had a fabulous 115 feedback, 100%. Positive.
Sa ilang taon ko na ebayer, isa lang yung item na di ko na-received.
And di naman ako apektado dahil 1.99 lang sya.
So deadma.
Diba sabi ko di ako bumibili ng jeans sa ebay or on-line , I bought a few before,
And it was great, fits me perfectly coz of detailed item description, so sabi
Hmm…ok naman pala.
Lately, may binili ako, sure it was a deal.
Pero hanggang ngayon di ko pa natatanggap yung jeans, mag 4 weeks na.
Twice ko pa lang sya na-email.
Naiinis ako sobra. Kasi ayoko. As in AYOKO, talaga mag-iwan ng negative
Feedback lalo na kung 100% yung feedback ng seller.
Ahhrrgg….
Geezz…am really good of “letting it go”, kaya lang naisip ko,
Fair bay yun? Let go ko na lang?
Eh di naman lahat ng tao tulad ko diba?
Yung iba…queberrrrrr talaga..
Pano kung dumating yung time na ako naman ang iiwanan nila
Ng negative feedback, sana naman may awa ang Diyos wag mangyari,
Dahil marunong naman ako maki-communicate.
Ewan.
Nabubuhay kasi ako sa karma, golden rule and things happens for a reason.
Alam nyo yun.—“ Matt 7:12 Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”.
I will e-mail her/him for the last time.
We’ll see…..
Pero kung ako papipiliin, let go ko na lang talaga.

Movies:
- kahit wala na akong netflix, meron pa naman kaming cable,
so may mga movie doon an gusto ko, then i just set the timer:
nitong huling linggo or buwan, i watched quite a few, i watch a movie
at least once or twice a week. adik tlaga ako sa movie.
pampa-relax ko na rin kasi. (akala mo naman kung sinong stress ano?heheh)
27 DRESSES-- so cute, i love it :) pang girlash na movie talaga. :)
my fave part eh yung lumabas sya from the club or yung party nga then sumigaw sya ng mother******!!!!hahah...i think that was awesome, kse minsan na-experience nating mga babae yun, na you are just about to explode, and needed to let it all out badly...and that's what she did :)
FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL- it was ok for me. pero nagagandahan ako dun
kay Mila kunis yata yun, yung pinalit nya kay sarah.
I COULD NEVER BE YOUR WOMAN- di ito pamilyar sa akin pero nakita ko si
michelle pfeiffer so okay naman sya. its funny!
ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS- hahah. its cute. i like it :)
gusto ko tuloy hulihin yung mga squirrel dito sa amin
at gawing pet. hahah..anh. no-way!

5 Facts about me:
INTRO/WARNING:
Ok, here’s the warning : I am not or not considering my self
as an interesting or intelligent (definitely not!)person,
but I do love my life so much.
And I am a very grateful person.
I thought about doing this thingie about “facts about me”,
Just because, I just want to do it.
It might be sound so pathetic, but you know,
I have fun reading my diaries and anything about my own life.
Because I simply appreciate ME. That’s all.
So I will start with 5 Facts about me:
1 I am super bad in grammar, spelling and words (obviously).
Please forgive me.
If there’s one thing that I appreciate so much is that,
If someone help me correct my grammar, I always ask my mom-in-law
about it. I NEVER felt offended, because I know I need help :(
2. In Motherhood: I really take time to learn the lyrics of the songs that
My baby loves to listen to, so I can sing it to him before he goes to bed.
(though am not a good singer at all, well, that’s what good about babies,
They always think you sing like one of those American idol finalist LOL)
3. I bake when am too happy.
4. I bake when I’m a little sad like when I miss my brother
And I don’t have the phone card to call him, or if I know
Its 2am in Pinas and I can’t bug him
5. When someone left a comments in my blog,
I write their names in my diary, with note:
“Thank You God for this person…. and so on..(about his/her comment)
Seriously.
I am always a believer that “we met people for a reason”.
And luckily, I met really good, amazing people. (through internet or in person)
You guys know who you are. For sure.
Thank you guys…
And thank You God.

still feel sad...
~ we missed the Super Bowl party yesterday because
the car won't start....i have been waiting for this day
to catch up with my other pinay friends and then just
didn't happened...sad.sad.sad.
disappointed. "shit happens" as jeff called it.
oh well, i'd like to think "things happens for a reason",
but for me who haven't been anywhere because jeff is too
busy working (even on weekends) and sometimes its hard
to be with my mom-in-law because she really does not have
the energy than she used to.
and my only friend who visits and drive down here..
i always have a hard time explaining to jeff that she's nice
and quit judging her and we always lead to arguments.
so exhausting.
i still feel sad in a way.
too lazy to do things.
i cried last night.this morning.this afternoon.
made me feel better in a way.
i had a long conversation with God too :)
we just can't have it our way all the time.
"this too shall pass"....right?
and by the way, i am sad not because of super bowl party,
or didn't get the chance to see all my friends.
i am sad. because i am sad.
and i let my self be.
just for today. tomorrow is another beautiful day.

Today's Message Received: "Don't give away your Power"
1. I don't have to have it my way
for me to have a good day :)
2. No one can take away my joy from me.
3. No circumstances can take away my peace.
4. Life is too short to live upset and disappointed.
5. My time is too valuable to argue with somebody.
6. Some people will not going to make peace with you,
you have to let it go and move on.
(this is after you said you're sorry and ask for forgiveness
and ask how can you make things better)
Its not worth thinking, its a waste of energy.
(though i know,it's not always easy!)
7. You can tell a lot about a person when they are upset
and facing circumstances.
8. Believe and trust God that He is helping us fighting
our everyday battle (whatever it is) but for the meantime
He will give us chance to enjoy our lives.
9. As we develop our character. God have more reason
to release His blessings to us. (so be good!)
for me to have a good day :)

the story of my Lahdidah Bootie ....:D
~ ok here's the story of my lovely shoes (nine west),well, for me
this is my taste, some people thought it was "ok"
but let me tell yah this, this shoes is unbelievably, insanely COMFY!
AS IN! I literally wore it for hours and hours
just around the house, the day i got it from the mail
yup, i bought it on-line (of course!)
it was orginally $100 something-something dollars but
i got it for 29-something, couldn't be prouder of my self
for being so cheap (just b/c i really don't have the money to spend)
anywayz, it really paid of though i waited 6 months for this deal :)
i am so happy and thought I'll share my happiness... :)

Inauguration Day 2009
I have never been so interested with politics (yes, am not smart he he)
just because...
but last tuesday January 20th, is totally a whole different story, i was glued watching every coverage of the Inauguration Day of President Barack
Obama. And I already plan to spend my morning coz I was so dead seriously
excited about it :)
I maybe so emotional about all these because Jeff and I have been talking, discussing and planning about our future, and with the economy and the situation of every company, its just hard to make decisions, but then again, we stay Faithful to God, that He has control with everything, as we believe that President Barack Obama will definitely going to do it....
I was so moved by the event and by his speech. I mean. Every word.
The spirit of the event is just unbelievable.
A!mazing.
And of course, my most favorite part of his speech:
"We remain a young nation, but in the words of Scripture, the time has come to set aside childish things. The time has come to reaffirm our enduring spirit; to choose our better history; to carry forward that precious gift, that noble idea, passed on from generation to generation: the God-given promise that all are equal, all are free, and all deserve a chance to pursue their full measure of happiness."
His emotional connection with the people just simply magical.
Really, the light of the new age has begun.
Wherever you are at that very moment if you witness this kind of history you'll be optimistic about the possibilities.
I love the way that he also talks and listen to everyone's soul.
The support of everyone being there, and even me sitting in the comfort of my home feels the incredible history made that day :) again, A!mazing!
And in the evening,at Inaugural Ball I love the part when President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, did their first dance,(they actually did it 9 more times) I love how he compliments his wife looking so beautiful that night and the way they look at each other, even they weren't saying a word you can feel that they sending a message to each other that " I am here for you no matter what"...
so Beautiful. so Inspiring. A!mazing.
That event makes me feel that I want to be a better person and do better things with my life.
For the first time since i got here in United States , I feel that no matter what happen,
in this very moment i know I am in right place at the right time.
God bless America.

" BE OPEN TO SOMETHING NEW"
if things didn't happen the way you expected it to be,
don't forget that God is still in complete control.
DREAM a new dream.
His mercy is bigger than we could imagine.
God knows how to connect the dot to lead us
in our destination.
What we think is a set back could be a set-up for a comeback :) (woo-hoo!)
Be willing to get out from your comfort zone.
Its time to Arise.Shine.And Smile :)
Have a blessed day to all :)

5-Meat Stuffed Pizza
~If this is not a gigantic pizza I really dunno what it is.
Jeff and I usually can eat at least the ¾ of the pizza,
But this one…oh-oh! We both have a piece, and we totally
felt full! So yummy though, its just toooo meaty for me…
It was good! Pizza is just not my ultimate fave…
I like it when I feel it…that’s all :)
